: Sr. Manager - Business MISLocation: Pune, IndiaDepartment: Operations and FinanceJob Summary:The Senior Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Business MIS will be responsible for overseeing the creation, management, and continuous improvement of the MIS function for our mutual fund operations. This role involves data analysis, reporting, and the development of strategic insights to support business decision-making. The candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely information flow and enhance the effectiveness of the mutual fund business.Key Responsibilities:1. MIS Development and Management:%2. Develop, implement, and manage MIS systems to ensure effective reporting and data analysis.%2. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and reports provided to management and stakeholders.2. Data Analysis and Reporting:%2. Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business strategies and decision-making.%2. Prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.3. Strategic Planning Support:%2. Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine business strategies based on data-driven insights.%2. Support the development of business plans, forecasts, and budgets through robust data analysis.4. Stakeholder Management:%2. Liaise with various departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, Operations, IT) to gather data and ensure cohesive reporting.%2. Provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders to drive business performance.5. Process Improvement:%2. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in data management and reporting.%2. Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.6. Compliance and Risk Management:%2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to data management and reporting.%2. Monitor and mitigate risks associated with data integrity and reporting.7. Team Leadership and Development:%2. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of MIS analysts and data specialists.%2. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.Qualifications:Education:o Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.o MBA or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.Experience:o Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in MIS, data analysis, and reporting within the financial services industry, preferably in mutual funds.o Proven experience in leading and managing teams.Technical Skills:o Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).o Strong understanding of financial markets, mutual funds, and investment products.Soft Skills:o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.o Strong communication and presentation skills.o Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.o Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.Preferred Attributes:Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to mutual funds in India.Experience with advanced data analytics techniques (e.g., predictive analytics, machine learning).Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Behavioural Skills:Self-Starter-high energy levelsPositive, Enthusiastic & ResourcefulStrong professionally-credible with integrityGood Listener \xe2\x80\x93 Will challenge constructively and respond well to feedbackManages conflict, Ability to deal with ambiguityCommunicates effectively
