Understanding of data warehousing concepts
a. Concept of data warehousing, difference with traditional databases, difference with
data lake
b. Data Model concepts, facts and dimension, measures and references, normalization
and denormalization
c. Knowledge of data warehouse fundamentals, indexes, views and materialized views
d. Incremental data loading concepts, change data capture, row level and column level
security fundamentals.
e. SQL concepts, fundamental and moderate \xe2\x80\x93 Different types of joins and
aggregations, analytical functions, data time and typecasting functions, grouping logic
a. Proficient in data analysis using different visualization tools such as Power
BI/Tableau/Qlik
b. Usages of buttons, bookmarks, custom tables
c. Depth knowledge on data modeling approach
d. Knowledge of Power BI copilot and NLQ function or any other equivalent in other BI
tools
e. Knowledge of Row level security
4. Large scale engagement experience
a. Agile program management
b. Owning delivery of end to program with complex BI needs
c. Strong stakeholder management
d. Ability to groom team for parallel engagements
Experience (Must have)
1. 12+ years of IT experience in DWH and BI projects
2. Must have 6 + years of experience of Power BI or Tableau implementation.
3. Must have SQL knowledge.
4. Must have data modeling knowledge.
5. Strong client management experience
6. Basic knowledge and experience with Machine Learning and associated projects
Experience (good to have):
1. Knowledge of different tools in fabric
2. Experience of azure synapse, GBQ, SQL server
3. Designing, developing, and researching Machine Learning systems, models, and
schemes through data science and data analytics prototypes
4. Understanding of Natural Language Processing(NLP), Natural Language
Understanding(NLU) and Natural Language Generation(NLG)
5. Data Quality and MDM concepts, data qualityMandatory Skill Set-DWH and BI projects
