Key Responsibilities:
• Operations Management:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the service/PDI team, including technicians, painters, and support staff.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
• Oversee the workflow to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Quality Control:
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all activities are met or exceed industry standards.
• Monitoring and inspection of completed work to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
• Customer Service:
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide accurate estimates.
• Communicate repair progress and any changes in a clear and timely manner.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and follow-up.
• Staff Management:
• Hire, train, and develop body shop staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
• Education: Degree/ diploma or equivalent; advanced training or certification in auto body repair preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Car Dealership/PDI/Service , with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in estimating software and other industry-related technology.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
