Responsible for the delivery of all outcomes to support performance management requirements of CPBB cost. Provide value add through comprehensive understanding of financials, business context and analysis to support their decision making and strategic development
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business
Understand drivers for cost performance; drilldown & analyse the cost across actuals and plan
Contribute & support to draw out and present the \xe2\x80\x98cost\xe2\x80\x99 story in a presentable format for senior management
Provide support to challenge businesses, regions and functions on their cost number if not aligned to CPBB strategy
In-depth understanding of cost reporting structure, processes, and systems
Transform cost hierarchy into a hierarchy aligned to reporting requirements using a robust process which will cater to dynamic demand environments
Work with upstream and downstream teams to ensure that there is transparency in the cost numbers and the process. Provide timely & accurate financial information / MIS to enable strategic decision making
Analyse business performance (management and financial), review highlight risks and opportunities and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome.
Ensure support & contribute to business stakeholders on regular and ad-hoc management meetings (e.g., MBR, CPBBMT, WFR, CPBB Core, etc)
Ensure impact on business performance outcomes is managed due to change in upstream or downstream processes and systems
Collaborate with Group / Regional / Country Finance colleagues in providing quality management information and review of business plans and strategies
Contribute in any ad-hoc finance related projects, including providing support to Finance Transformation initiatives as well as simplification of bank process
Processes
Provide delivery ownership and control over all CPBB outcomes across cost processes including accounting and control.
Ensure that MI is produced in a timely and relevant suitable to senior management
Coordinate and support during forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting cycles with Regional / Country finance functions

Our Ideal Candidate
Chartered Accountant or MBA with extensive relevant finance experience
Experienced in banking products, booking models, accounting treatments
Sound understanding of cost management, cost performance reporting and understanding of cost booking and allocations practices
A high degree of integrity and ability to challenge the views and actions of others in a constructive manner
Ability to work effectively under pressure and multi task.
A team player and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, and stakeholders.
Strong Analytical mindset, coupled with an understanding of business performance management outcomes
Should have worked in a business finance function with FP&A background.
Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the Performance management process.
