Job Description

Scope of leadership role:

• Lead the ideation, development, and implementation of AI/ML solutions on the Perceptiv Intelligent Reliability and Maintenance platform.
• Participate in strategic business and product planning processes, providing thought leadership on advanced AI technology roadmaps and industry trends.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust data pipelines and ETL processes for Generative and Predictive AI projects. Grow and develop a team of direct reports to provide class-leading AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions, driving project success and technological innovation.
• Manage and work with team of data scientists and software engineers to implement complex machine learning models and algorithms.
• Strategize and optimize data infrastructure and storage solutions to ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable data processing across projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and architects to implement solution frameworks that align with GenAI guidelines of organization.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues within data pipelines and systems to maintain continuous and smooth operations.
• Partner with RRX Product Leads to build a strategic AI vision for the Perceptiv platform, utilizing the latest developments in the field of AI/ML.
• Document and standardize data engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices across teams.
• Ensure professional development and certification in solution architecture for team members, maintaining industry best practices.
• Collaborate with other AI thought leaders within RRX to drive best practices and promote Perceptiv capabilities.
• Develop tools, processes, and external relationships to accelerate the development AI/ML technology in support of business objectives.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant technical/technology experience, with a strong emphasis on Data Engineering and ML Ops projects.
• Experience setting and executing innovation strategies at both technical and organizational levels to drive business objectives.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and proficiency in data processing frameworks .
• Expertise in SQL , NoSQL and sophisticated database management systems.
• In-depth knowledge of event-driven architectures.
• Extensive experience managing data lakes and understanding of data lake architecture.
• Experience in building platforms and large-scale systems, driving impactful and lasting solutions. Strong emphasis on engineering best practices and a focus on quality.

Nice To Have Skills:

• Proficiency with technologies like Databricks, Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Lake Storage, DataDog, and Splunk.
