The ideal candidate will lead the ATR function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all reporting and accounting processes. This role is crucial for driving financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. The ATR Group Lead will be based in Ahmedabad, India and must possess a CA/CPA qualification with extensive experience in the FMCG industry and Big-4 experience. This position is expected to work EU hours, but due to its seniority, it is also expected to attend occasional meetings during NA working hours.Primary Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy:xc2xae Lead the ATR team, overseeing all accounting and reporting activities to ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal policies.xc2xae Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.xc2xae Collaborate with senior management to support strategic initiatives and provide financial insights.Financial Reporting & Compliance:xc2xae Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow reports, fixed assets controls, intercompany reports and accounting reconciliations.xc2xae Oversee the preparation and submission of all statutory financial reports and tax filings.xc2xae Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including local and international accounting standards.Process Improvement:xc2xae Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the ATR function to streamline processes and enhance productivity.xc2xae Implement best practices in financial reporting, leveraging technology and automation tools.xc2xae Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the end-to-end financial reporting process.Internal Controls & Risk Management:xc2xae Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.xc2xae Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks across the organization.xc2xae Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.Team Development & Management:xc2xae Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing ATR team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.xc2xae Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and career growth.xc2xae Evaluate team performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Stakeholder Management:xc2xae Serve as the secondary point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth and successful audit processes.xc2xae Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, mainly controllership, but also finance, operations, and executive leadership teams.xc2xae Communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Desired Candidate:Education:xc2xae Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field.xc2xae CA / CPA certification is mandatory. Master or MBA in related field is a nice to have.Experience:xc2xae A minimum of 10 xe2x80x93 18 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the FMCG industry.xc2xae Previous experience in any Big-4 company is great to have.xc2xae Extensive experience with IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance in a multinational environment.xc2xae Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.xc2xae Exposure to International environment is also a key for the success of this position.Skills:xc2xae Proficiency in financial software and SAP system (e. ECC, FI, CO, CFIN modules, etc.xc2xae Previous expertise with Blackline system is also required.xc2xae Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.xc2xae Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills.xc2xae Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.xc2xae Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
