Job Description

This functional position sits inside the Global SAP Center of Excellence is responsible for managing the health of our Global SAP ERP S4Hana and ECC systems, primarily in the Record to Report / Central Finance business process domain. This hands-on role will ensure that all projects and system support areas are implemented and maintained to quality by adopting best practice configuration and technology. This role will be involved with analysis and design, system configuration, integration, testing, maintenance and support for the delivery of projects and minor/major releases of SAP. The successful candidate will work closely with SAP technical analysts and functional consultants to understand the business requirements and deliver solutions that support the ongoing Global IT and business strategy.





• Provide day-to-day support for the Belden SAP applications (including any add-on's) in the Record to Report / Central Finance area by resolving change requests and malfunction/incident tickets.
• Discuss business requirements with the Business Process Owners and Key Users providing satisfying SAP system solution with the aim to adhere to SAP standard solutions.
• Assist Team Manager by providing right SAP solutions (including any add-on) for various business requirements in the Record to Report business processes using standard SAP solutions and knowledge.
• Coordinate ABAP developments by preparing the functional specification documentation and testing results following our standards.
• Support change and release management processes for SAP application (including any add-on).
• Support test processes and user training for SAP R2R business process area.
• Support service level management processes, based on our SLA with the business
• Ensure effective working relations within and between other SAP teams.

• Possess good problem solving, resolution, and high level of analytical skills


Qualified candidates will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical related field
• Demonstrate successful track record in supporting Finance, Controlling and Central Finance business processes
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in designing and implementing SAP Record to Report solutions
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in supporting SAP Finance and Controlling business processes on ECC 6.0 and at least 3 years experience on S4Hana
• Experience with Central Finance landscape, scope, deployment and support.
• Experience with VAT, new general ledger, US GAAP and several statutory accounting principles desired
• Familiarity with SAP technologies - ABAP, BADI, IDOC, RFC, ALE, BAPI, and SAP Add-on's
• Familiarity with middleware, like Boomi and CPI and experience in working with technical resources to define data mapping between systems.
• Experience with technology such as Basware, High Radius, Open Text, Hyperion FCCS is a plus
• Experience preferred in system development project management
• Familiar with standards on application maintenance (e.g. ITIL)
• Business level English required
• Business level German preferred
