Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Legal Advisor / Senior Legal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice, guidance, and support to the company on a wide range of legal matters. This role involves working closely with senior management to ensure that all legal risks are identified, managed, and mitigated while supporting the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:Legal Advisory:

• Provide strategic legal advice to the Board of Directors, executive management, and various business units on complex legal issues.
• Develop and implement legal strategies to safeguard the company's interests.
• Advise on corporate governance and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including technology agreements, service contracts, partnership agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
• Ensure contracts are in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including data privacy, intellectual property, employment, and corporate law.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and industry best practices.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation in collaboration with external legal counsel.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide training to staff on legal issues and risk management.

Corporate Transactions:

• Advise on and manage legal aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing activities.
• Conduct due diligence and coordinate with external advisors and regulatory authorities as necessary.

Intellectual Property:

• Manage and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
• Advise on IP strategy and handle IP-related disputes.

Policy Development:

• Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and support to employees on legal matters and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with experience in the technology or media sector.
• Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice and managing complex legal issues.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High ethical standards and integrity.

• Experience in a senior legal role within a technology or media company.
