Senior Legal Advisor- 5+ Years- MumbaiLocation: MumbaiWe are looking for an attorney proficient in handling the legal review and negotiation of various commercial contracts (US & UK only).YOUR EMPLOYER: A leading global firm providing solutions spanning personnel, risk management, and capital optimization.Responsibilities: * Conducting thorough legal reviews and propose amendments to contracts under both US and English law, adhering to established guidelines and playbooks.

• Offering legal guidance and support to internal stakeholders across all business lines, engaging professionally via email and Teams calls to address contract-related inquiries.
• Leveraging internal Contract Lifecycle Management System, facilitating negotiations with external parties to mitigate risk, and closely collaborating with the Sales Operations Centre of Excellence.
• Maintaining compliance with company and OGC Policies, engaging in necessary interactions and upholding the company\'s Code of Conduct and training obligations.
• Promptly escalating complex issues to the Team Lead or appropriate members of the in-country Legal Team, following prescribed escalation protocols, while maintaining a keen focus on contractual quality and understanding the financial/legal implications of provisions.

Requirements: * LLB or LLM is a mandate.

• Minimum of four years\' experience in reviewing and supporting the negotiation of services or software contracts from both sell-side and/or buy-side perspectives, adhering to established templates, playbooks, and guidelines.
• Candidate should have knowledge of GDPR or US privacy laws.
• Should have experience in contracting under US and/or English law, with a strong attention to detail ensuring high-quality and accurate work.
• Previous experience in a financial services or other corporate environment is an advantage.
