The Senior Lecturer in the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology will be responsible for teaching, research, and clinical duties within the department. The candidate will be expected to conduct lectures, seminars, and clinical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of oral medicine and radiology. The candidate will also be responsible for conducting research, publishing scientific papers, and participating in departmental and institutional activities.


Responsibilities:

• Conducting lectures, seminars, and clinical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of oral medicine and radiology.
• Developing and implementing innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience of students.
• Conducting research, publishing scientific papers, and participating in research projects within the department.
• Collaborating with other departments and institutions to foster interdisciplinary research and learning.
• Participating in the planning and organization of departmental and institutional activities, such as conferences, workshops, and seminars.
• Providing clinical services to patients in the department, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
• Supervising and mentoring postgraduate students in their research projects.
• Assisting in the development of the department's academic programs, policies, and procedures.
• Contributing to the development of the college's strategic plan and objectives.
• Undertaking administrative duties as assigned by the department head or college management.

Qualifications:

• A Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in Oral Medicine and Radiology from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching and clinical experience in a dental college or hospital.
• Proven track record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty members, staff, and students.

• Oral and maxillofacial pathology
• Oral and maxillofacial medicine
• Head and neck oncology
• Temporomandibular disorders (TMD)
• Orofacial pain

Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
