•ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: •


•Customer Integration Services Portfolio Architect•

•The CIS Portfolio Architect is a pivotal role focused on shaping the technical solutions provided to customers to tailor SITA's product suite to a customer's specific requirements. This role is essential for collaborating with technical owners and Sales teams to ensure optimal solutions that meet customer needs but also are efficient for SITA to develop and support.•

•WHAT YOU WILL DO: •

• •Portfolio-Level Tech Strategy: • •Work with CTO to define and lead the technical strategy for the CIS portfolio, specializing in efficient custom solutions. Collaborate with product team technical owners to align strategies with ongoing roadmaps and sales teams to ensure strategy supports ongoing sales and can be efficiently delivered and supported.•
• •Technical Documentation: • •Develop comprehensive technical documentation at the portfolio level, including detailed product/service interaction overviews and data flows tailored customer requirements.•
• •Key Design Decisions: • •Represent critical design decisions at the Software Design Authority (SDA) specific to CIS, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.•
• •Portfolio Change Assessment: • •Evaluate and provide technical insights into the portfolio's change funnel, focusing on optimizing solutions, resource management, and operational efficiency.•
• •Product-Level Collaboration: • •Collaborate closely with CIS delivery teams to influence and contribute to solution design decisions, technical design documents, and effective management of technical debt within the CIS portfolio.•
• •Security and Compliance: • •Lead efforts in product-level threat modelling and security workbooks, ensuring robust security measures are implemented across CIS systems. Collaborate with EISO and security domain architects to ensure compliance with industry regulations.•
• •Capability Modelling: • •Drive capability modelling initiatives within the portfolio, working alongside product owners, business analysts, and tech owners to enhance solutions.•
• •Guideline Development: • •Play a key role in establishing "guiderails" specific to CIS solution architecture, identifying gaps in best practices and tools, and championing the creation of new services through collaboration with cross-functional teams.•
• •Consulting Support: • •Provide technical expertise and support to consulting architects during customer engagements, ensuring a deep understanding of the CIS technical capabilities.•


Qualifications:
•EXPERIENCE: •


• •Ideally 5+ years of experience•
• •Technical Expertise: • •Proficiency in architecting solutions for airports and airlines, with experience in cloud-based technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of container-based architectures, such as Kubernetes, is a plus.•
• •Industry Knowledge: • •Broad functional understanding of airport business capabilities, particularly in the areas of airport planning, scheduling, resource management, and operational efficiency.•
• •Cloud and Container Skills: • •Proficiency in architecting cloud-based solutions, with a preference for experience with Microsoft Azure in an airport/airline context. Experience in architecting solutions based on containers, particularly Kubernetes, for scalable and efficient messaging systems.•
• •Stakeholder Management: • •Proven track record of excellent stakeholder management within the airport and airline industry, understanding diverse stakeholder needs and effectively communicating technical concepts.•
• •Communication Skills: • •Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical ideas and solutions to non-technical stakeholders within the airport domain.•
• •Collaboration Skills: • •Strong collaborative skills to work closely with product teams, business stakeholders, and technical delivery teams to drive effective solutions tailored to airport needs.•
