Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for leading marketplaces going forward to achieve sales along with P&L responsibility
- Deliver monthly revenue targets in line with business goals by keeping other metrics in check.
- Channel/Account Management- Taking care of tasks related to specific channels, coordinating with category managers/account managers of various channels
- Execute the Joint Business Plan for driving profitable sales growth for our brands assigned platforms.
- Negotiate and Own the Terms of Trade; with E-com customers for a Win-Win partnership.
- Customer Management- Building relationships with the E-Com retailers at each level - Front end operations, Product Assortment, Supply chain, Distribution and CRM, and brand marketing activities to increase the digital presence of the brand and product performance.
- Promotions - Understanding the Key Business Drivers for each account and formulating an activation calendar in line with that
- Coordinating with the Internal marketing team to work on demand generation initiatives.
- Managing ads on the platforms and coordinating with the mkt teams (Internal & External).
- Doing Competitor Analysis, Monitoring marketplace products, and pricing; leveraging internal and external data sources to identify gaps/ opportunities.
- Daily monitoring the marketplace account and ensuring the product shows up on the first page by adding relevant keywords at the backend, opting in discounts, deals and waivers.
- Recommend best practices on the marketplace, understanding on commission fees, logistics fees, account health, A+ content, product keywords and other relevant components to drive healthy P/L.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to leverage organic opportunities for driving visibility.
- Drive sales growth through effective account management, promotional activities, and marketing initiatives
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and supply chain, to ensure successful product launches and promotions
- Monitor and report on competitor activity, pricing, and promotions to inform sales strategy
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
Experience Required :
- The Ideal candidate should have worked as a category Manager with an online retailer or has been a
- KAM for the E-Commerce channel with a leading brand
- MBA in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management, preferably in apparel industry
- Should have handled and scaled business on Myntra, Ajio and Nykaa for 3 years.
- Knowledge of running PLA ads on Myntra and deriving actionable from myntra insights.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets
- Data orientation and strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform strategy
- Excellent knowledge of working on amazon vendor central and Flipkart seller panels
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
