Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of development experience and a strong background in building scalable, high-performance Java applications in a microservices architecture. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with various data sources and third-party services.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring high code quality and adherence to industry best practices.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable microservices-based architectures.
• Build and maintain distributed systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Manage service communication, integration patterns, and service orchestration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to service interactions and dependencies.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure and operations teams to implement SRE best practices.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of applications and systems.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for proactive incident detection and resolution.
• Automate and optimize deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
• Participate in post-mortem analyses and drive continuous improvements in incident response and system performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product, etc.) to deliver high-quality software.
• Mentor and guide junior developers and share knowledge on best practices, design patterns, and emerging technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings.
• Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Utilize profiling tools and metrics to ensure optimal application performance.
• Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and fault-tolerant systems.
### Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related Java technologies.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Proficiency in implementing SRE best practices, including monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, and other related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of Databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
