We are looking for someone who can:

• be a part of a Software Engineering Chapter, working on deliverable for Data Gateway application and peripheral applications using Java Spring boot, Databricks , PostgreSQL .
• partner and collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers and Testers to deliver working and robust solutions in a dynamic environment
• analyze business requirements, design implementable technical solutions that leverage process and development best practices
• we are looking for strong Backend Java Spring Boot Developer, who can help us build ambitious software / application which will be consumed across UBS.

Ready to be part of #teamUBS and make an impact?Your teamYou will be working within Platform Stream and in Data Gateway Crew from India (Pune/Mumbai), working closely with colleagues in UK, Zurich, Poland and US including DevOps, developers, BAs and Automation Engineers.Your expertise

• experience of 14-18 years working in Java Spring boot for implementing projects with high SLA of data availability and data quality, exposure to Cloud technologies (Azure preferred) is a major plus.
• 14+ years of strong delivery experience in Backend Development, Java Spring Boot, J2EE, REST. Experience using DevOps toolsets like GitLab, Jenkins, TDD/BDD tools like PyTest , Cucumber.
• hands-on experience working with build tools like Maven/Gradle. Experience of working on Kubernetes / OpenShift, Containerization (Docker, Podman or Similar), Cloud Native technologies and frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot).
• hands-on experience on with PostgreSQL or similar (RDBMS concepts)
• experience working in any cloud platform and preferably in Azure development including Databricks, Azure Services, ADLS etc\xe2\x80\xa6
• while not necessary, experience of working with Kafka and Elastic Search will be a plus
• real passion for and experience of Agile working practices, with a strong desire to work with baked in quality subject areas such as TDD, BDD, test automation and DevOps principles
• excellent presentation, and communication skills.
