We drive software application design, development, deployment, and support for internal stakeholders and external users. As Principal IT Developer on the Connected Care team, you will lead application design and guide and participate in the development and maintenance of applications on multiple platforms. You will follow the Agile methodology to develop great applications, facilitate support, and improve development team processes. You will partner with colleagues and other stakeholders including developers, testers, analysts, users, and management to ensure all aspects of software projects are successful.

Our mobile development services are expanding to include Connected Care activities across the business to improve patient lives and experiences with Medtronic therapies. This role will focus on developing and implementing Connected Care solutions that serve our patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. You will work on a variety of software and hardware platforms including React, Node.JS, Typescript and other emerging web application technologies.


Position Description: This position requires in-depth experience and a strong knowledge of Planisware application from an administration, configuration, support, customization, deployment, and business perspective. This position also requires experience and knowledge of Planisware, Integrations support to other applications (already configured). This position will be responsible for the overall support of Enterprise Portfolio Management application Planisware, covering several diverse businesses.
Position responsibilities: • Provide Planisware Support and Administration
• Support multiple OU/Business/Function stakeholders within Planisware via project templates, Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) etc., including IT, CVG Operations PMOs, and Medtronic Business Services
• Support users and project managers around the globe.
• Monitor Planisware Assignment group queue in Service Now and troubleshoot any issues, including through investigation of SharePoint log files.
• Assist project managers with all and any issues and questions regarding Planisware modules.
• Work with IT Shared Services teams to follow Change Management, Release Management, and Systems Development Lifecycle
• Utilize Waterfall and/or Agile Methodologies to monitor adherence to program management guidance and directives issued on projects.
• Perform data analysis, write SQL queries including stored procedures and functions for on-demand analytics, and derive insights from the analysis.
Minimum Education Required:

• Bachelor's Degree

Years of Experience:

5-7 years of technical and enterprise systems management experience.

Specialized Knowledge or Skills Required:

Essential

• Minimum 7 years of experience administering Planisware Application administration, configuration, and support.
• Planisware Certification (preferable)
• Knowledge of the Planisware Integrations with Power BI and reporting (in Microsoft SQL Server)
• Experience in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Demonstrated experience or training with Planisware.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form
• Ability to communicate and document complex issues and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
• Self-starter able to establish relationships in a matrix environment.

Preferable

• Experience in Reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Knowledge of n-tier Client Server architectures, middleware, and web technologies.
• Any relevant Project Management Certification
