Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator with DevOps experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability and security of our systems, and integrating DevOps practices to streamline our software development and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

IT Administration:

• Network Management: Configure and maintain the organization's internal and external networks to ensure high availability and security.
• System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain servers, both on-premises and in the cloud, including operating systems and applications.
• User Support: Provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure user satisfaction.
• Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Regularly update systems to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Backup and Recovery: Manage data backup, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Hardware Management: Oversee the procurement, setup, maintenance, and replacement of hardware equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
• DevOps Engineering: Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Configuration Management: Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate the setup and management of infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance, and to troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to manage and provision infrastructure resources.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
• Cloud Management: Manage and optimize cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of resources.
• Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools to reduce manual efforts and increase operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in IT administration and at least 2 years in a DevOps role.

Technical Skills

• Operating Systems: Proficiency in managing Linux/Unix and Windows servers.
• Networking: Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible.
• Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
