Job Description

Lead the development of design concepts, space planning, layouts, and detailed drawings for interior workplace design projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with clients and stakeholders to establish project goals and objectives, and translate these into design solutions that are innovative, functional, and on-brand. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct research on new products, materials, and design trends to ensure that design concepts are innovative and relevant. \xe2\x80\xa2 Mentor and provide guidance to junior and intermediate designers to support their professional development. \xe2\x80\xa2 Contribute to the development of company standards, processes, and best practices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop detailed drawings and specifications, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, and communicate these effectively to project teams. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, construction documents, and other project-related materials to ensure that design intent is being met. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct site visits and coordinate with project teams to ensure that design solutions are being implemented as intended. \xe2\x80\xa2 Participate in business development activities, including client presentations, proposal writing, and relationship-building. \xe2\x80\xa2 Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee the quality of project deliverables to ensure that they meet or exceed client expectations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Contribute to the development of workplace design strategies and trends, positioning the company as a thought leader in the industry.

Desired experience and technical skills
Required \xe2\x80\xa2 A degree in interior design or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in workplace interior design. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Knowledge of workplace design trends, building codes, and industry standards.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience leading design projects from concept to completion.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of

attention to detail.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior designers and provide

guidance to team members.

• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
