Work includes studies, specification writing, layout development, design calculations and supervising vendor packages.Responsibilities:Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Tasks Produces instrument database from P&I diagrams
• Performs calculations for control valves, safety relief valves and orifices
• Prepares instrument specifications/datasheets, especially for field instruments and do the related technical bid evaluations
• Checks supplier drawings
• Wiring & Loop Drawings
• Cable schedules & block diagrams
• Supervising vendor packages
• Effective management of change
• Communication and interface with other engineering disciplines
• Works according to company/project standards, procedures and specification

• Education B.Tech / BE degree - Instrumentation or equivalent
• Required Skills
• Good command of English (both verbal and in writing)
• Hands-on experience in EPC project execution in the Oil & Gas contracting industry
• Experience 12 - 22 years
• Good Communication skills, team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint & word
• Able to deal with resistance, Meet deadlines and is able to handle changing needs and requirements.
• Demonstrate understanding of procedures. Actively develop more FEED and EPC knowledge
• Is familiar with codes and standards for domestic and/or international and generally current on latest scientific and engineering methods
• Possesses a technical knowledge of the detail design engineering process
• Experience with the use of general application software
• Experience with the use of Instrument Database applications (SPI / Aveva)
• Commercial awareness
