About the Role
Information and Cyber Security (ICS) has a new opportunity in the Cyber Hygiene organization to work on the Enterprise Application Security Program (EASP) team. We are seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to work with lines of business and technology teams to meet the priorities of Digital Infrastructure Strategic Planning (DISP) priorities specifically to strengthen security of applications on Cloud. The ideal candidate will have many years of experience working on solutions to prevent the storage of secrets in source code repositories.

Responsibilities:

• The person in this role will be enhancing Wells Fargo solutions to prevent the storage of secrets in source code. Job responsibilities include:
• Optimization of secret storage prevention rules to prevent the storage of tokens and keys in GitHub
• Working with Trufflehog and Checkmarx to enhance secret storage prevention
• Designing, developing, and testing custom software to ensure scanning enforcement (Python preferred)
• Developing and testing custom C# software to evaluate compliance.
• Developing custom reporting dashboards (Tableau preferred)

Essential Qualifications:

• Overall experience of 7+ years in IT
• Experience developing Regular Expressions (RegEx)
• 5+ years of C#/.NET software development experience in a large enterprise environment
• 3+ years of experience with development tools including Visual Studio .NET and GitHub.
• 3+ years Agile development experience
• Rapid prototyping experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced problem-solving skills, ability to develop effective long-term solutions to complex problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent inter-personal skills contributing to stakeholder management, Team engagement etc.,
• Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in Python, Tableau
• Knowledge and experience in identifying and suggesting mitigations to OWASP top 10, CWE/SANS top 25 to development teams is a plus.

• Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment.
