We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Partner to join our Global Human Resources team. You would be based in our Gurugram and as an experienced member of the regional APAC HR team, you would work across the APAC region, and will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of commercial People practices. You would work closely with HR Partners based in Mumbai, Singapore and China as well as Divisional HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Operations, Reward, Finance, Payroll, and the local management teams. You will be responsible for providing commercially focused HR services that:

Main Responsibilities Business Partnering
  • Work closely with Divisional HRBP team to translate corporate and functional People initiatives at a regional level
  • Coach and develop the regional leadership team to work cohesively and effectively to drive performance improvement across the organisation
  • Champion talent management to ensure improved attraction, retention, and development of staff to build effective succession plans and learning programmes including development of management and leadership capabilities.
  • Partner with leaders and senior managers to ensure the timely recruitment of high calibre, qualified employees whilst effectively managing costs and maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • Participate and/ or lead in the delivery of designated Reward and Recognition projects such as salary benchmarking, advising managers on salary levels, management of salary review processes, bonus awards and incentives.
  • Act as a consultant/ coach/ confidant to leaders and managers on high impact organisational initiatives/ issues to maintain high levels of employee engagement.
  • Work with leaders and senior managers to ensure departments are equipped to deal with organisational change.
  • Drive effective implementation of a coaching culture between managers and individuals so that coaching for performance is embedded as part of the day to day working approach
  • Adopt a data-led approach to identify and manage key metrics and analytics to challenge and drive continuous improvement in people management processes and overall business effectiveness.
  • Support the identification, creation, and implementation of people capability initiatives across the division, e.g., Employee Engagement Survey, Wellbeing, Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging, Recognition initiatives etc.
  • Oversee implementation of HR policies as required by changing legislation or new business issues to enable the Company to proactively respond to changes while setting appropriate Company standards.
  • Manage the Employee Relations activities to deliver the best possible outcomes for the organisation and whilst working within employment legislation, policies, and practices.
Regional Strategy Development
  • Engage and support business strategy assessment
  • Develop a deep understanding of the proposition and overall strategy of the APAC region and how this aligns to the overall WoodMac strategy
  • Work in partnership with the business to consult, influence and translate into action the overall WoodMac and Business Unit strategy; able to speak the business language, and support organisational processes such as the budget cycles, resource planning, reward cycle, succession and talent development, and recruitment
  • Drive the business\xe2\x80\x99 people plans forward through HR project delivery, diagnosing issues, implementing solutions, and managing risks
  • Change Management: Balance the needs of the business and employee interests while being attentive to the planning and implementation of change
  • As the HR Lead for the APAC Regional Exec, provide key inputs to support delivery of business strategy


Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner in a global and highly matrixed business
  • Proven ability business partnering to stakeholders across multiple international geographies
  • Degree level candidate with relevant HR qualifications
  • A commercially orientated HR professional who is interested in the customer and commercial aspects of the business
  • Experience of leading change programmes with successful and sustainable change outcomes
  • Excellent analytical skills including experience of workforce planning, business reporting and fact-based decision making
  • Passion for performance coaching and management at all levels
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a local and global HR team
  • Driven and curious
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels in the organisation
  • A strong working knowledge of HR Information Systems, and tools and techniques (for example job evaluation, psychometrics, OD methodologies etc.) is require
Expectations
  • We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.
  • While this is expected to be a full-time role, part-time or flexible working arrangements will be considered.
  • Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
