Hands-on contribution to product/feature implementation and support. Balance the paydown of technical debt and the development of new product features, with hands-on contributions. We currently have an immediate need for a Lead-Hardware Design Engineer. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative products for the Access Control and Security market. You will work closely with both internal teams and outside partners to support key aspects of product design, execution, and test. How you will do it: Work as a main contributor on the Hardware Engineering team Participate in HW development from concept to production Support design, schematic capture, documentation, and test. Guide and mentor junior Engineers What we look for: Required: Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree Overall 6+ years of experience in Hardware Engineering experience Experience with schematic capture tools (Altium preferred Experience with embedded HW design, MCUs, memory interfaces, communication interfaces Experience with lab equipment oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc. Preferred: General knowledge of PCB layout viewers (Altium and Allegro preferred.
