Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Hairdresser to tackle all our client's hair needs. You will be greeting and understanding the client's requirements before offering any suggestions. Your main responsibilities include washing, shampooing, cutting, colouring, drying and styling clients' hair. Besides, you should be able to recommend any hair and scalp treatments upon analyzing the scalp/hair condition.

Apart from providing hair cutting, colouring and styling services, you should also be able to offer basic beauty services like manicure/pedicure, eyebrow shaping and facials. Moreover, you will be responsible for styling model hair and wigs for professional photo shoots. In addition to this,

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and understanding their preferences/needs
• Advising haircuts based on clients face shape, hair type and condition
• Undertaking basic and advanced hair cutting techniques like layers, graduated hair and blunt cut
• Washing, shampooing, conditioning and drying as well as blow drying clients' hair
• Suggesting various hair cuts and styling options according to the client's facial features
• Providing various hair treatments like rebonding, thermal reconditioning and spas
• Suggesting different hair colouring methods like highlights, global and balayage
• Using various hair styling tools like scissors, trimmers, straightener, curler and blow dryer
• Creating hairstyles for formal events like weddings, casual outings and professional photoshoots
• Analyzing hair condition and recommending hair care products like therapeutic oils, hair masks and serums
• Doing head massages, hot towel treatments and root retouching
• Recommending and selling in-store hair products whenever possible
• Suggesting medical treatment for chronic scalp conditions
• Providing basic beauty services like facial threading, facials and manicures/pedicures
• Teaching hair styling on wigs to inexperienced and junior staff
• Checking and maintaining inventory of hair care products
• Managing and scheduling appointments and addressing walk-in queries
• Maintaining cleanliness of the salon
• Cleaning and sterilizing all hairdressing tools
• Taking cash payments and maintaining receipts/records
• Working with the Beauty Salon Managerto introduce some attractive offers.

Requirements

• A certificate course in hairstyling is preferred
• Proven work experience as a Hair Stylist or Hairdresser
• Ability to stand and work for long periods
• Ability to offer high quality of customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and holding high patience level
• Knowledge of different hair cutting and styling techniques
• Understanding of latest industry trends
• Ability to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards

Experience :-

• Must have experience of 7 years plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hair styling: 7 years (Preferred)
• Hair Coloring: 7 years (Preferred)
• total work: 7 years (Preferred)
