Position Summary Purpose Analyze and develop a visual response to communication requirements for both print and online publishing needs of the organization. Should respect existing corporate identity guidelines and style guides and also improve the same. Develop and deploy best practices. Work independently as well as mentor others. Duties & Responsibilities Functions ESSENTIAL Research, gather and study relevant project information. Understand deliverable requirements Take ownership of graphic design projects from start to completion Create storyboards that depict the script and narrative Create project documentation including the design templates, standards, style guides, technical specifications, straw models, and pilot materials Understand and follow branding guidelines and templates Function as a creative self-starter and work independently Navigate ambiguous projects Prepare estimates and make schedules Execute complex design projects from start to delivery, take creative calls Create layout and templates for various posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newsletters Create offline & online visual design, including typography, visual concept, logo and icon design for the Internet and design collaterals Understand user behavior and design seamless User Experience Create sketches, artworks or illustrations as required Create graphics, 2d animations, and videos for training and marketing Create concept art for non-technical graphics requirements Improvise content within the scope of the project Communicate and collaborate with other animators, designers, content writers, and graphic artists. Review concept sketches and artworks created by junior graphic designers Attend all team meetings and deliver assigned projects/task on time Create library elements for frequently used assets Organize and re-use elements from library Participate in regular teleconference meetings with colleagues at different geographic locations Receive and implement feedbacks in the right spirit Ensure alignment with scope and deadlines Learn new software, standards, and tools quickly Demonstrate high level of initiative to accomplish individual goals, aligned with department and organizational objectives NON-ESSENTIAL Perform additional administrative /technical jobs as assigned Be open to travel as per business needs Contribute to improving existing processes Safety Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment. Other Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems. Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company. Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities Reporting Relationship General Manager (Engineering Services) Sr. Manager (Corporate Support) 3D Artist/ 3D Modeler/Graphic Designer Qualifications Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor degree or equivalent level of competence in fine arts/Multimedia Discipline Minimum four years of relevant production experience Expert level user of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Good working knowledge of Adobe Animate and After Effects Good understanding of User Experience design Good knowledge of Graphic design and UI design principles, typography, color theory and printing technology Excellent Web design knowledge Good knowledge of principles of animation DESIRED Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Intermediate freehand drawing skills Good knowledge of Audio and Video editing Good knowledge of Responsive Website design and Parallax website design Good knowledge of AI-based tools will be an advantage Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Self-motivation, confidence and passion Teamwork & Interpersonal skills Disciplined documentation and record keeping skills Flexibility and adaptability under adverse conditions Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness Ensure regular and consistent communication within the area of responsibility Innovation mindset and Creative intelligence Strong aesthetic skills with attention to visual details Additional Information Working Conditions This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace Work surface is stable (flat) Physical Activity/Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
