About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs - Global Business Services (CCA GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Senior Vice President (SVP) and Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas, including Global Public Affairs and Sustainability (GPAS), Patient Access, Marketing, Commercial Planning and Content hub.

With a significant growth outlook for Novo Nordisk, it is of very high importance that the right environmental solutions are created to drive the change towards zero environmental impact. In addition to driving innovative market development and communication efforts, the unit is responsible for the global commercialization and optimization of Saxenda\xc2\xae and Obesity & NASH pipelines.

The position

As a Senior Global Project Manager- ESG, you will be responsible for supporting process and production management of the Annual, Quarterly and Monthly ESG Report. You will also be supporting management of ESG data for internal and external use and will drive ESG related risk management and materiality analysis. You will also manage trendspotting within sustainability as input to risk management and to management teams for discussions on sustainable business.

  • Prepare and follow up on production plans and work stream schedules and Manage project budget and follow up, including vendor contracts.
  • Coordinate internal review processes, including version control and quality assurance, Collect information and documentation. Additionally, Assist editor in chief, project owner, project manager and copywriter(s) in relation to content development and internal approvals .
  • You will also be supporting the continuous upgrade of the company\'s integrated reporting and collaborate with Corporate Accounting on developments.
  • Provide ad hoc support with research using various digital tools and solutions to support materiality assessment and decision-making within ESG-related topics.
  • Drive ESG data gathering across Novo Nordisk Operations and reporting to Global Corporate Accounting team.
Qualifications
  • Academic degree (MSc, MA or similar) within Environmental sciences, Sustainability, communication studies, business administration, or social sciences.
  • Training & education in project and production management.
  • Formal training (courses or on-the-job) in project management and/or production management.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in an international business environment.
  • Experience in print and digital production management, such as production planning, design, proof-reading, quality control, print, vendor management, budget management and administration.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in managing business processes and strategy development.
  • Solid understanding of corporate sustainability and global issues.
  • Experienced in the discipline of project and portfolio management.
  • Experienced in corporate annual reporting.
  • Experience from working or studying abroad, or in international environments.
  • Solid experience and demonstrable track record in project management, including the ability to work with discipline and structure, delivering on time and in impeccable quality even under time pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with larger reporting tasks and seek the knowledge that is needed to solve the task at hand.
  • Experience and demonstrable track record in management of print and web productions, with the ability to oversee and manage complex processes .
  • Detail-oriented and with focus on quality in processes and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent English speaker and native speaker/fluent in Danish..
  • Good writing skills; ability to communicate clearly and to the point
  • Strong team player with the ability to interact with respect and authority at executive and senior management levels ..
  • Good understanding of the mechanisms of decision-making and alliance-building in large, complex organisations
  • Good understanding of social interactions and differing stakeholder perspectives.
  • Strong commitment to the Novo Nordisk Way and adherence to the company values.
  • Strong social skills, including cross-cultural understanding and empathy.
  • A proactive, can-do spirit; a self-starter able to work independently and prioritise tasks.
