We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemist to join our dynamic team. The Senior Chemist will play a pivotal role in conducting and overseeing analytical testing across various matrices including food, water, and environmental samples. This position requires a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and oversee analytical testing procedures for food, water, and environmental samples using a variety of techniques and instrumentation.
• Perform method development, validation, and optimization to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.
• Interpret and analyze data, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings to clients and regulatory agencies as necessary.
• Lead and mentor junior laboratory staff, providing guidance and training on analytical techniques and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality assurance/quality control protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, troubleshoot instrumentation issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field with a focus on analytical chemistry.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a food, water, or environmental testing environment.
• Proven track record of method development, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, EPA) is highly desirable.
