Avaloq is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst for a pivotal role in our dynamic transversal Regional Controlling Team.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
• Develop, coordinate, and implement financial plans on a global level for revenue as well as cost.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budget/forecast.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
Reporting:
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain jointly with Data Analytics team Power BI dashboards for financial metrics and KPIs.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with relevant regulations.
Cost Management:
• Monitor and control operating expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Performance Monitoring:
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge performance.
• Develop and refine performance measurement tools and techniques.
• Provide actionable insights to drive business performance improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
• Experience within the fintech or software industry is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
