Position Title: Senior Finance Analyst Job Location: Bangalore, KA, India To independently perform staff level Treasury functions to support various financial activities depending on location and business unit. From the outset, the Senior Finance Analyst in a Regional Treasury Center expected to be a contributing performer, using knowledge of finance and experience gained from previous positions to support Treasury processes & tools utilizing analysis techniques. Perform Treasury operation functions not limited to cash Management, running data, extracting report, reconciliation, FX support, month end closing activities, internal control, Insurance management etc. The Senior Finance Analyst is expected to provide technical expertise and guidance to peers as well as recommendations to supervisor on finance issues. Incumbent will have comprehensive knowledge of Caterpillar\'s business and finance policies and practices, systems, processes and procedures. Incumbent will apply finance knowledge to activities and will participate in and/or lead multifunctional teams. The incumbent will lead projects to conclusion by compiling information, analyzing data, recommending and implementing solutions and will provide information and analysis used to make and/or influence business decisions. Typically, projects and decisions will impact medium to high-risk issues. Finance responsibilities are of high complexity including conducting financing alternatives analysis, analyzing financial statements, managing cash assets and bank accounts, FX trades, conducting business risk management, and supporting trade finance. The incumbent is capable of handling broader business issues such as delivering presentations to business unit and corporate leadership teams, working with cross-functional disciplines to solve business problems, and using business acumen to support a broad range of activities. The Senior Finance Analyst demonstrates very good communication skills and has a comprehensive knowledge of the business, suppliers and customers. Additionally, this position will: Develop an expanded understanding of Caterpillar\'s business and finance practices, Treasury systems and procedures. Accomplish a high level of output with a broad range of basic analysis of Treasury Operations Advise employees and entry level finance professionals. Generate reports and provide commentary. The Senior Finance Analyst in a Regional Treasury Center identifies relevant function-related data, provides feedback, and influences decisions. Typically, decisions will impact medium-risk issues. Background/Experience College/University degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Admin, Economics, Business Analytics. MBA (Finance), CA/CPA, CFA & CTP are also welcome. Treasury operation experience of minimum 3-5 years. Good analytical and communication skills (written and verbal) Strong accountability and integrity with attention to detail. Experience in the Treasury tools such Quantum, Trax, 360t etc will be added advantage. Work will be directed by a Senior Manager, but this position does not require close supervision to be effective. The Senior Finance Analyst at a Regional Treasury Center demonstrates knowledge and ability to independently resolve issues by following guidelines or previously used effective solutions. They are highly motivated and demonstrate good communication skills and have an expanded knowledge of Caterpillar\'s businesses, products, suppliers, customers and policies.
