Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Factory Manager to lead our chemical manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring we meet our targets for quality, quantity, and on-time delivery, while prioritizing safety and environmental compliance.Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor production plans to achieve established goals for output, quality, and efficiency.
Oversee daily production operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and process optimization.
Manage a team of production supervisors, engineers, and other staff, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Implement and maintain a robust quality control program to ensure all products meet or exceed specifications.
Prioritize safety in the workplace, enforcing all safety regulations and procedures, and continually improving safety protocols.
Manage and maintain all production equipment, minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and prompt repairs.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures to optimize production efficiency and resource utilization.
Manage the dispatch of finished products, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while minimizing transportation costs.
Maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers to ensure smooth product movement.
Oversee adherence to all environmental regulations and safety standards, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
Prepare and submit production reports, budget proposals, and other relevant documentation.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to improve production processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within a chemical manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of achieving production targets for quality, quantity, and on-time delivery.
Strong understanding of chemical processes, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant production planning software.
