Job Title:

Senior External Reporting and Consolidations Lead, India

Summary: The Senior External Reporting and Consolidations Lead, India would assist the Director of External Reporting and Consolidations for overall control and responsibility for all external reporting, technical accounting and consolidation functions: to ensure global financial statements are accurate and complete in accordance with US GAAP and K-IFRS and maintaining a robust control environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assists the external reporting effort to ensure that the financial reporting is in compliance with K-IFRS and U.S. GAAP regulations including the preparation of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s financial statements
• Assists in establishing and driving adherence to policy throughout the organization.
• Conducts accounting technical research and writes issue memos for accounting and disclosure matters including reviews on certain reporting matters for K-IFRS, and US GAAP
• Maintenance of the SOX 404 documentation and related testing for the financial reporting cycle.
• Ensures compliance with governmental census reporting requirements.
• Collaborates with the investor relations/treasury department in the preparation of Company press releases.
• Performing special projects as needed.
• Provides U.S. GAAP support to the various Finance leaders.
• Assists with the annual external audit and serves as a liaison between the Company and external auditors to resolve complex accounting, audting and reporting issues
• Facilitating quarterly MOMH IFRS consolidations with Korean Parent
• Facilitating quarterly IFRS Footnotes for Korean Parent Consolidations
• Pension subject matter resident for both IFRS and US GAAP including quarterly Pension accounting footnotes per IFRS
• Hedge accounting and related quarterly footnote per IFRS
• Other IFRS subject matter expertise for MOM Holdings
• IFRS and US GAAP Goodwill evaluation (internal and external)
• Annual stock instruments valuation
• Sustenance of stock-based compensation system: Certent
• Sustenance of Lease Accelerator for compliance with ASC 842/IFRS 16 \xe2\x80\x93 Leases, as well as for LA\xe2\x80\x99s Lease Buy decision functionality
• Sustenance of OneStream XF for state of the art consolidations of Momentive Company Codes
• Gatekeeper of Momentive Accounting Policies
• Maintaining and Updating the DOA tool
• Consulting, coordinating, US GAAP to IFRS Financial Statements for Korea Consolidation/Reporting Team
• Coordination of the Monthly Forecast request from our Korean Parent
• Coordination with our Korean Parent as needed

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or related areas;
• Minimum experience + 8 years;
• Functional skills;
• Chartered Accountant or a US Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• More than 8 years of experience in accounting and analysis, audit, internal controls, consolidations and reporting;
• US GAAP and IFRS knowledge\xcd\xbe
• Strong project management skills and ability to make actionable recommendations and assess priorities for team members;
• Advanced/Fluent English.
