The position of Senior Expert is the key position in these BIDs. Missions/Main Duties:

• Provide deep technical knowledge and advice in their area of specialization (e.g., civil engineering, electrical systems, signaling, rolling stock, project management)
• Review and validate designs, methodologies, and implementation plans prepared by contractors or consultants.
• Ensure compliance and project-specific standards and guidelines.
• Conduct technical audits and inspections to maintain quality throughout various project stages.
• Assess project risks related to their domain of expertise and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, project managers, consultants, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Act as a liaison between the client and contractors/consultants to address specific technical concerns.
• Train and mentor junior engineers, project managers, and other technical staff to build organizational capacity
• Prepare detailed technical reports, risk assessments, and project documentation for senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and recommendations in their area of expertise.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.

Profile/Skills:

• Graduate in Civil Engineering/ Electrical/ Architecture/ Mechanical with minimum of 15+ years in railway or railway related industry, out of which at least two metro projects.
• Advanced knowledge in their domain of expertise, such as tunneling, viaduct construction, signaling, or rolling stock integration.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Primavera, or specialized industry applications.
• Awareness of safety protocols, environmental considerations, and sustainability practices.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and policymakers.
• Comprehensive understanding of metro and railway industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Experience in liaising with regulatory authorities for approvals and compliance.
