As a Senior Executive Transport, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all transportation-related activities within the organization. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute strategies that optimize transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational effectiveness. You will be part of a team of transportation professionals and will work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure the smooth and timely movement of vehicles and employees.Key Responsibilities:Transportation Strategy Development: Develop and implement a holistic transportation strategy that aligns with the organization\'s goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased efficiency in transportation operations.Fleet Management: Oversee the management of the organization\'s fleet, including vehicle selection, maintenance, and replacement. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations.Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with transportation service providers. Monitor service performance, and manage the overall vendor relationship to optimize service levels and costs.Transportation Planning and Optimization: Develop and implement systems and processes to effectively plan, schedule, and optimize transportation routes, taking into consideration factors such as distance, fuel consumption, seating capacity, and delivery timelines.Cost Control and Budgeting: Manage and monitor transportation-related budgets and expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyze spending patterns, and implement strategies to minimize transportation costs while maintaining service excellence.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and standards. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment for transportation staff and employees.Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement in transportation operations. Proactively identify areas for enhancement, implement process changes, and leverage technology solutions to drive operational efficiency.Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree
• Proven experience (8+ years) in transportation management
• Strong knowledge of transportation industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing transportation strategies, driving cost savings, and optimizing operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems (MIS) and other relevant software and tools.
