Exciting opportunities has arisen at Certifications at Navi Mumbai, India for SENIOR EXECUTIVE - ESG.



As a Senior Executive - ESG you will be part of our Sustainability Certifications team, responsible for conducting verifications of clients' Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics, Green House Gas (GHG) emissions and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients meet regulatory standards and improve their sustainability performance. The ideal candidate would be a qualified and experienced ESG & GHG verifier.

### Tasks and responsibilities


• Manage projects of large supply chain assessment programs in the field of ESG, GHG management, LCA & other environment projects on opportunity basis
• Conduct detailed assessments of clients' ESG reports and GHG inventories
• Verify compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including ISO 14064, BRSR, GRI, SASB, and other frameworks
• Analyse data, identify discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Prepare comprehensive verification reports and present findings to clients
• Collaborate with the certification team to ensure consistency and quality of verification services
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the verification process
• Liaison with clients through regular communication
• Stay updated with the latest developments in ESG and GHG standards and industry's best practices
• Participate in training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance verification skills

### Requirements


• Graduate in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
• Post graduation in related discipline will be preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ESG and/or GHG verification or auditing
• Professional certification in ESG, GHG verification, or related areas (e.g., ISO 14064 Lead Verifier, GRI Certified Training Program)
• Experience with life cycle assessment (LCA) and carbon footprint analysis and familiarity with other sustainability frameworks and standards (e.g., CDP, TCFD) would be an advantage
• Experience working with certification bodies or regulatory agencies would be preferred
• Working knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 14064, BRSR, GRI, SASB)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Effective communication and report-writing skills
• Proficiency in English language (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software tools
• Willingness to travel for on-site verifications as needed
