  • Entrepreneurial Mindset to Identify and develop new business opportunities in relevant segments within the respective markets for Godrej Industries Ltd -Chemicals.
  • Need to work hand in hand with R&D and technical teams to build the value proposition for these technologies and products, to shortlist the appropriate products for market and able to prove effectiveness and efficiency enhancements to customers.
  • Will have responsibility for the P&L of Segment as well as a key voice in current and future investments.
  • Need to stay abreast of market trends and new upcoming technologies. Working closely with customers and internal sales team to bring in market / customer insights/Market visits.
  • Will guide the future vision and strategy for this business within GIL-Chem. Responsible for all capability building and infrastructure development relevant to the portfolio section.
  • To assist in product management & achieving profit targets for the product portfolio. Whatever it takes to achieve the above is the responsibility.
  • Monthly forecast/ Customer wise costing/ Price policy to branches/Raw Material planning.
  • Setting up appointments and visiting potential customers /suppliers for business.
  • To support in managing sales and distribution network across the region to generate and achieve sales target and profitability through value selling.
  • Establish long-term business relationships and create new projects with existing customers.
  • Act as a single point of contact to address all customer queries & complaints.
Who are we looking for?Education:
  • B.E (Chemical) or MBA
Experience:
  • 4+ years in Business Development/ Sales / New market penetration.
