Job Responsibilities

Develop, test, maintain, document and release software solutions according to a new Epic/Capability.

• Discuss with the System Leaders/Functional Owners group to get the required specification which need to be analysed and implemented as solutions.

• Responsible for providing estimates for the Capabilities/Features and technically implementing the solutions.

\xe2\x80\xa2Responsible for a number of software components and competence areas.
\xe2\x80\xa2Develop embedded code in C++ language from software requirement specifications, candidates are expected to have good knowledge of C++ (99, 11, 14 and 17) standards.
\xe2\x80\xa2Experience in UML \xe2\x80\x93 Model based SW Development is an added advantage (Eg: Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody)
\xe2\x80\xa2Perform trouble shooting in application SW, drivers, BSP, OS, middle ware software.
\xe2\x80\xa2Develop unit tests, tests the software to verify functionality using various testing tools.
\xe2\x80\xa2Document the software code in order to release the software for use in the ECU.
\xe2\x80\xa2Follow the predetermined work processes in order to comply with the standards.
\xe2\x80\xa2Suggest and implement improvements in the software development process/environment.


Required Competencies

• 6-10 years of experience in embedded software development using C++ (98,11,14, 17 versions)

\xe2\x80\xa2Good communication skill (written and verbal) in English.
\xe2\x80\xa2BE/M. Tech in Computer Science or Electronics/Communication or Electrical Engineering.
\xe2\x80\xa2Experienced in working with continuous integration environment using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Artifactory.
\xe2\x80\xa2Experienced in Linux/QNX or any other Real Time Operating System,.
\xe2\x80\xa2Knowledge of AUTOSAR and Vector tool chain Ex: GENy, Candela Studio, Configurator Pro.
\xe2\x80\xa2Knowledge of CAN (e.g. J1939, J1587 and ISO ) protocols, Canalyzer and CANOE.

• Knowledge in ECU Diagnostics using ISO14229 \xe2\x80\x93 UDS on CAN protocol.

Good to have competencies

• Genuine interest in Vehicle Connectivity/Telematics for Automotive domain

\xe2\x80\xa2Experienced in Agile/SAFe way of working in software development
\xe2\x80\xa2Proficiency in Microcontrollers e.g: i.MX controllers and its variants
\xe2\x80\xa2Someone who enjoys working in a Global Organization with cross functional interaction
