Senior Estimation Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 CoordinatorForms+Surfaces is looking for Senior Estimation Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Coordinatorto join our team!Job Location: Suzlon One Earth, Hadapsar, PuneCompany OverviewForms+Surfaces designs and manufactures architectural products used in public spaces around the world. From walls and elevator interiors to site furnishings and lighting, our line invites creativity and provides real-world solutions to the challenges our customers face.Scope and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with estimators, project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications to ensure all project aspects are covered. Prepare detailed material take-offs of projects based on drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed BOM, Quotations, Sales Orders, Contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and scope changes.
• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals in a timely manner for the projects.
• Identify potential risks while estimating and manage change orders.
• Mentor and train junior estimators within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in estimation techniques and tools.

Required qualification, skills and experiences:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Interior, or Industrial Design.
• Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience in estimation of Architectural interior products and Outdoor products.
• At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Estimation.
• At least 2+ years exposure in working/coordinating with international clients.
• Experience in leading a team of estimators or similar roles.
• Experience in ERP or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of architectural products and materials.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks is required to read drawings.
• Familiarity with take-off tools like Plan Swift and Bluebeam is an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in glass products is an added advantage.
• Ability to read project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to identify requirements, prepare cost estimates, and quantify cost factors like production time, materials, and labour.
• Ability to establish budgetary estimates and provide conceptual and hard bid estimates of projects.
• Work with sales and engineering teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills to communicate with the USA team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must have problem-solving and decision-making skills.
