The Intermediate level, under moderate supervision, analyzes, designs, creates and implements databases, including access methods, device allocations, validation checks, organization and security. Designs data models, logical and physical databases, data dictionaries and schemas. Assists in systems planning, scheduling and implementation. Initiates corrective action to stay on schedule. Installs, upgrades and tests moderately complex database software. Develops and implements database recovery plans and procedures. Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US is looking for a passionate and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our \'Always On\' strike teams to improve the resiliency of our applications. We are seeking an experienced engineer who enjoys the challenge of writing software and automation to create repeatable and reliable application deployment and maintenance processes. You will help bring us closer to \'Always On\' availability and zero downtime deployments thru architecture and application changes. The enhancements you deliver will have significant influence and impact across the whole CCH Axcess product suite to drive new patterns and practices to help meet this goal. Essential Duties: Collaborate with Architects and provide technical leadership to finalize implementation plan to refactor Azure IaaS/PaaS cloud services for high availability, resiliency, scalability, security, and optimal performance to meet service level objectives. Create and maintain build and release pipelines for legacy and new services to achieve zero downtime deployments. Create automation to ensure consistency in deployment, maintenance, and operation of our products and services. Ensure software testing and monitoring is automated upon deployment and continuously within production. Troubleshoot and determine root cause of complex cross product issues and identify action items to drive increased reliability. Mentor and pair program with other team members to help them succeed and achieve their full technical potential. Relentlessly document your implementation, patterns, practices, and processes. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement automated deployment pipelines using Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, and PowerShell Work closely with development teams to ensure that software is delivered in a timely and efficient manner following Agile methodology Collaborate with operations teams to design and implement scalable and resilient infrastructure for software delivery within Wolters Kluwer Continuously monitor and improve the performance and security of software applications Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software deployment and infrastructure Create and maintain documentation for software deployment and infrastructure Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, Agile, and software delivery within Wolters Kluwer Experience in Application Operations is a must Experience in IAAC using Terraform and Ansible Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field 8 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer Strong experience with Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, and PowerShell Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Strong understanding of software development practices, Agile methodology, and methodologies Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) certification is a good to have
