:OverviewThe major purpose of the Sr. Enterprise Architect (Corporate Markets) role is to: Develop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture for the global Corporate Markets business unit. Engage with Business representatives and establish and maintain the architectural building blocks that will, in course, be used to support and enable business objectives. These elements include Reference Models, Artefact Repository, Patterns, Frameworks, Tools, Methodology and Governance frameworks. Provide consulting and recommendations to the Corporate Markets business unit through the formulation of technology strategy, solution option analysis and cost/benefit analysis. Participate in and provide governance on major programs and projects to ensure that solutions are in line with the broader Group-wide Enterprise Architecture and that expected business and IT benefits will be able to be realised. Support internal teams in the development of their Corporate Markets solution and servicesKey Accountabilities and main responsibilitiesStrategic Focus

  • Provide strategic IT architecture vision, strategy and technology leadership for large programs and business transformation initiatives for corporate market business
  • With large sized programs and the interdependencies between the projects and programs in Corporate Market, Enterprise Architect would provide integrated vision, roadmap and steer to build standard solutions and technology change plans considering overarching scope and dependencies
Operational Management
  • Establish and maintain Architecture artefacts for the global Corporate Markets business unit
  • Review new and existing IT projects to ensure compliance and integration with the Group-wide Enterprise Architecture.
  • Providing advanced technical consulting in multi-platform application environments.
  • Performing advanced assignments as required, particularly in areas of difficulty, complexity or critical need.
  • Identifying and investigating opportunities to utilise and integrate emerging technologies to provide cost effective, flexible solutions.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of business plans and possible impacts to the business unit Architecture. Engage regularly with business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Develop and maintain an Architecture aligned to the IT Strategy. Determine the roadmap required to support the implementation of the Architecture.
  • Govern across and ensure that the scope and design of strategic projects are aligned with the target Architecture. Ensure that tactical initiatives risks and deviation from strategic plans are understood and communicated.
  • Participates in and facilitates functional and technical designs of systems to ensure sound decisions are being made in alignment with current and future business and IT strategies and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical and physical Architectures to meet requirements and strategies.
People Leadership
  • Supervise & mentor other architects into Link Group standards and best practices in the domain of IT architecture and strategy.
  • Stakeholder Management and Leadership to drive global Business and Technology change
  • Key Member of the Global Technology Leadership team and Point of Contact for Exec and Senior Stakeholder communication(s)
Governance & Risk
  • Keep aware of compliance requirements (regulatory, governance, audit), and the development and implementation of supporting standards.

  • 15+ years of IT experience, 10+ years in solution design and 5+ years in senior architect roles
  • Exposure of both Infra and Application estate would be an ideal candidate
  • Highly professional and self-motivated individual with the ability and desire to work with experienced IT professionals in all disciplines of a dynamic, evolving environment
  • Personal qualities: innovative, resourceful, collaborative, energetic, and self-confident.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to document and present models, strategies, standards, and concepts to both business and IT audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to learn business process and operations and apply technical solutions.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • 5+ years of solid experience implementing medium to large-scale distributed applications and application ecosystems
  • Experience in various integration concepts, patterns and technologies
  • Strong communication, consulting and negotiation skills
  • Have a solid working knowledge across infrastructure domains (network, compute and storage).
  • Effective research, analysis and problem solving skills
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship building skills
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
