Summary

As the Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer for Payroll & Benefits, you will be responsible for the design, build, implementation and ongoing support for various products and tools leveraged to deliver Payroll & Benefits for GE HealthCare. Roles and Responsibilities In this role, you will:

• Responsible for development and enhancements/integrations of all Payroll & Benefits Products
• Debug code for performance or functionality issues
• Production issue triage/fix
• Responsible for product and process security design as part of development
• Responsible for testing and release management
• Create/Maintain Technical specifications and documentation

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science or in \xe2\x80\x9cSTEM\xe2\x80\x9d Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
• 3+ Years of experience in PeopleSoft development, PeopleTools (Integration Broker, Component Interface, BI Publisher, web services, SQL, SQR (Structured Query Report), Application Engine, PeopleCode, SAML(Security Assertion Markup Language) Integration), Peoplesoft Tools Upgrades, Self-Service delivery using PeopleSoft, Well Versed with SQL & PLSQL packages, Understanding of PeopleSoft Security Functionality and Setup
• Experience with Secure Application development and tools such as DAST (dynamic application security testing)/SAST (static application security testing)
• 3+ years of Experience in Data Aggregation platforms, data design and ETL tools, Oracle Database, Oracle PL/SQL, Unix Scripting, Reporting tools

Desired Characteristics

• Strong understanding of HR, Payroll and Benefits processes
• Experience with HR products like Workday, PeopleSoft
• Strong business analysis, problem solving, and triaging skills
• Good communication and technical documentation skills
• Experience with data Analytical tools such as Business Objects and Tableau
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend etc.,
• 2+ years of experience in Web system Architecture and web development tools
• Expertise in Azure Foundational, Java/ J2EE, Shell Scripting, GitHub, Jenkins
• Expertise in processes/methodologies and skilled in build, release & deployment processes
• Expertise in core data structures and interfaces for information exchange across platforms
• Expertise in assessing application or service performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best practices
