Since the beginning, Thales has been playing an essential role in Indias growth story by sharing its technologies and expertise in Defence, Transport, Aerospace and Digital Identity and Security markets.Required Education, Competencies and Experience:Describe the minimum level of education, area of study, job knowledge, skills and abilities and/or experience required to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with 5-9+ years experience, or Masters degree in field with 4+ years experience Test Management & Test Methodologies (Integration, Verification & Validation) Expertise in common test practices (Automation, Functional & Non-Function tests, use cases)

• Deep knowledge of Unix /Linux/ Android systems Deep knowledge of Ethernet networks Deep knowledge of common defect management and tools (ClearQuest, JIRA) Knowledge of Agile and common tools (JIRA, VersionOne)
• Good motivator / Team leader Strong analytical abilities Familiarity with common system weaknesses (race conditions, synchronization problems, border values, intermittent problems in SW & HW)
• Ability to understand and create test cases Comfortable with handling and performing troubleshooting on software & hardware Attention to detail.
• High level of proficiency in MS products such as Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications:

• Describe additional requirements such as certifications, industry-specific experience, languages, technical skills and/or experience with specific tools, equipment, computer hardware or software, etc.
• Experience in the aerospace industry; avionics experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering integration, verification or validation team
• Understanding of software development methods and electrical/mechanical design
• User Interfaces, Networking, SATCOM, and/or communication systems test experience
• Software and/or Hardware development design experience
• Experience in Test Automation
