Engineering in Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Mechanical engineering from reputed Institutions, preferably with Syllabus involving product design and automation



Overview



The Role is a Hands-on Engineering Position with at least 2 ~ 3 years of experience and deep knowledge in Precision Engineering Design. The Role is expected to using CAD tools and delivering 3D & 2D drawing for manufacturing of POC, prototypes and final product design.
The summary of responsibilities include

• Design SPMs/Jigs/Fixtures/Grippers/Products/Tools and precision assemblies for various applications.

• Coordinate with Fab Industries for precision development and Manufacturing

• Conduct feasibility studies such as finite element analysis, simulation and cost analysis to evaluate design concepts and manufacturing processes.

The role shall be responsible to coordinate and actively participate with Collaborating within team, stakeholders and third parties as well.




Major Deliverables / Tasks



1. Product design, System Engg Design
The role should deliver the below :

• Understanding the Requirement and deriving the Specifications

• Creativity, Conceptualization skills

• Experience on 3D CAD tools like Pro/E , Creo, Solid works, Autodesk Inventor, NX, etc

• Excellent understanding of mechanical engineering Design, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in design and manufacturing.

• Experience in Precision Assembly Designs for Plastics/Smart Products

• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful production and assembly of products.

• Oversee prototyping and testing activities, analyzing test data and making necessary design modifications.

• Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or delays.

2. Reports and Documentation

• The role is expected to meticulously compile all the support Details and Documents hailing from the core activities mentioned above and deliver the Blueprint of the Development Process and prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project updates, technical findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Skills & Attributes Sought for the Role

• 2 to 3 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing

• Strong expertise in mechanical engineering principles, design processes, and manufacturing techniques.

• Proficiency in CAD software, such as Pro/E, Creo, Solid works, Autodesk Inventor, NX, or similar tools.

• Experience in designing and optimizing mechanical components and systems for various applications.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, molding, casting, and assembly.

• Familiarity with product development methodologies and project management techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
