Finance. Own their homes. We intend to accelerate the growth plans we have identified as more consumers move towards digital solutions for property buying and selling. Over the last fifteen years, we helped create the Proptech industry in this region, and as the market leader, we look forward to providing further innovations to digitize the property sector. We now aim to build end-to-end property management solutions and are investing toward venturing into Home Services.PropertyGuru has acquired Sendhelper which is a full stack digital platform that directly connects home service providers to consumers. Our platform helps consumers book quality and reliable home services like Cleaning, Cooking, Laundry, Air Conditioner Maintenance, Handyman Services, Deep Cleaning, and Elderly Care.
Sendhelper is one of the most trusted and easiest solutions for HomeServices in Singapore.We are now in the phase of expanding the team to be the market leader in home services.About your role:

• Provide strong leadership to engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

• Be responsible for Sendhelper technology roadmap and execution from concept to delivery.

• Provide technical leadership to major projects, build, and lead a 2-3 high-performance engineering teams.

• Maintain a deep understanding of emerging technologies and industry best practices, ensuring the application of these insights in engineering processes.

• Collaborate with other Engineering Leaders, Product Management, and business teams, to ensure seamless product delivery.

• Establish and enforce rigorous quality assurance and testing processes to maintain high product standards.

• Give engineers the tools, confidence, and motivation to make decisions independently that lead to the recognition of your engineers and not just yourself.

• Evaluate performances regularly and share and seek feedback.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of leadership in a technology-driven organization
• 4 to 6 years of experience managing teams
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to execute complex engineering projects.
• Deep technical expertise and knowledge of software development methodologies.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple levels of key stakeholders across the organization.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
