Role Details

Job title : Senior Engineer

Experience : 3 to 5 Years

Location : Kharadi, Pune

Work from office

Education Qualification : B.E. Electrical/electronics/Mech Engineering

Your responsibilities will include

Understanding of function concepts:

Responsible to review and understand project requirement/ problem/design requirement

Creating C3 and above level Harness models and Drawings using Pro Cabling - Creo,Knowledge & usage of creo schematics

Wire, terminal, component selection.Adhering to Tier II governance and roadmap.

Define routing layout by understanding assembly and safety requirement and other manufacturing process.

Ensure the design(s) developed meet the DFM/ DFA/ DFS and other DVP&R Attributes.

Verify subsystem design against DVP&R requirements at each verification phase.

Prepare & conduct subsystem design reviews and cross functional for gaining alignment at each build.

Work with supplier for design discussions/ reviews at every significant event/ build and provide support for Engineering build/ manufacturing build.

Providing details for sample selection, follow-up & monitoring of sample preparation.

Develop PA test plan for sub system performance for build and testing\'s.

Capture and reuse knowledge at each milestone and at end of project

Support MVT initiatives.

Implement Architecture reuse Plan and Integration as per sub system strategy

Design documents (FMEA, Simulation plan, stack plan, CPM), Issue and knowledge capture documentation(A3,8D,design guides)

Projects Delivery On time, Cost, Quality

Proficient in CN release using windchill.

Key Deliverables

Patents/ Research / External presentations :

Contribute in innovation through project solution ideas or ideation events and Patent filing

Application of Technical tools:

Apply engineering tools to verify design for assembly/reliability/manufacturability/safety/ FMEA

Conduct design reviews, and program risk assessments and provide simulation inputs for the design reviews

Knowledge Management :

Generate and capture knowledge for future reuse

Identify Knowledge gaps & contribute for IDP

Document Knowledge in A3

Preferred skills and experiences

TECHNICAL

1.Expertise in wiring harness design & development

2.Expertise in Creo cabling CAD - harness 3D, flatten and drawing creation

3.Good Electrical engineering fundamentals

4.Conducted / driven testing\'s on wiring harness

5.Showcased strategic initiatives for team development

6.Good communication

7.Independently manage assigned projects
