Job Title: Senior Engineer - Unified Communications Career Level - D3 Introduction to role Join a world-leading pharmaceutical company headquartered in the United Kingdom, operating in over 100 countries. As a Senior Engineer in Unified Communications, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining a large infrastructure that spans several continents. This position focuses on Unified Communication, particularly Microsoft Teams migration and implementation, server, voice and data systems implementation, and associated project management methodologies. Accountabilities

• 2nd line incident resolution of applications and data issues related to MS Teams and related services
• Proactive management of the global infrastructure to maximize performance and reliability
• Ensure system integrity, security, and recoverability
• Provide technical advice and education to junior engineers
• Drive opportunities for process and service improvement
• Deliver solutions to recurring issues to drive process improvement
• Good knowledge in ITIL process

Essential Skills/Experience

• Bachelor?s degree or equivalent with 5 to 9 years of operational experience
• Experience in managing incidents, problems, changes, and capacity management aspects
• Demonstrated ability to handle a large number of incidents via any ITSM tool
• Flexibility to work in shifts on a rotational basis covering Americas, EMEA, and ASIAPAC regions 24/7
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
• A self-starter with high levels of drive, energy, resilience, and a desire for professional excellence

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Diploma/Bachelor?s degree
• Multi years of work experience in technical teams working in shifts
