JR41928 Senior Engineer, Site QMS

: Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records. Develop and Improve Micron\xe2\x80\x99s Quality Management Systems \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive Micron customer feedback and response program \xe2\x80\xa2 Administer surveys and analyze best practices for techniques and processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Support ISO certification efforts \xe2\x80\xa2 Support internal audit program by conducting ISO9001/TS16949 audits, gap analysis, and corrective action implementation \xe2\x80\xa2 Research best practices and conduct benchmarking related to QMS processes, methods, and tools \xe2\x80\xa2 Based upon the overall Quality System performance, identify critical systems or processes where quality improvements are required, initiate projects or activities to analyze, evaluate and propose solutions to address the problem and improve performance Collect and Analyze Data \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze data and metrics to develop suggestions for the improvement of processes and the QMS \xe2\x80\xa2 Collect data to identify root cause of problems \xe2\x80\xa2 Summarize performance metrics for management review \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and maintain corporate quality and functional or process metric dashboards \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement \xe2\x80\xa2 Utilize problem-solving methods and tools to solve complex problems Manage and Participate in Projects and Initiatives \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and drive Quality Systems projects from initiation to completion \xe2\x80\xa2 Diagram and model existing processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate existing business processes for performance improvement \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan, perform, and implement process improvement initiatives \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and develop systems that support business processes (workflow, data, user interface, etc.) \xe2\x80\xa2 Organize, lead, or facilitate cross-functional project teams and communicate team progress \xe2\x80\xa2 Utilize quality methods and tools to drive process improvement & provide consultation \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers, clients, and others \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain knowledge of semiconductor products, processing, failure modes, and reliability mechanisms \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques or quality improvement methods to improve process performance and product quality \xe2\x80\xa2 Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform cost and benefit analyses and aid decision making through data analysis, decision analysis, potential problem/opportunity analysis etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide performance indices \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and report against metrics \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and resolve issues (obstacles) \xe2\x80\xa2 Escalate issues as appropriate
