:Job Title- Database DeveloperLocation- PuneRole Description

• Database Developer is required to work as part of Deutsche Banks Wealth Management Technology team
• Hands on expertise on Oracle PL/SQL, Unix, Control-M
• Ability to lead a team of mid to junior Database developers.
• Able to perform analysis, coding , unit testing, debugging of stored procedures, functions, triggers and adhoc queries using SQL to support business, functional and technical requirements while leveraging efficiency opportunities and driving reusability.
• Responsible for overall application L3 Database support & stability including interfaces with other applications/systems.
• Follows application development that is consistent with industry best practices application attributes (including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility).

Your key responsibilities

• Responsibility includes analysis, debugging , development and testing of stored procedures, functions, triggers, and adhoc queries using SQL
• Ability to perform Database Performance tuning
• Ability to lead a technical team of mid to junior level developers.
• Ability to provide technical solution for production issues.
• Ability to provide Test cases, Test Evaluation Report etc.
• Ability to provide Release notes , SQL Scripts(implementation/rollback).
• Support testing (Unit, SIT, UAT).

Your skills and experience

• Around 15+ years of IT experience in Database design and development.
• Strong experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and adhoc queries using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong Experience with performance tuning.
• Strong Experience with Database and Dataware house design.
• Experience with ETL tool (Informatica or Ab Initio) is preferred.
• Experience with Power Designer is preferred.
• Experience with batch related technology (Control M, Autosys, UNIX) is a plus.
• Financial/Banking domain knowledge /Wealth Management is a plus.
