Your Key Roles & Responsibilities

• The Sr Engineer will work on design and development and/or modification of processes to consume the web services.
• The Sr Engineer will be responsible for the accurate recording of defects and the collation of metrics and KPI information for reporting purposes.
• The Sr Engineer will identify various performance tuning opportunities and accordingly fix the long running jobs/ processes in order to achieven the SLA timings for the feeds to downstreams.
• Mentor and guide the junior team members, perform code reviews.
• Responsible for following the SDLC processes, work with L2 team to release code into production, provide L3 Support in case of any failures.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Wealth Management business.
• Should be well versed with Agile Methodology.
• Should have hands-on experience on JIRA and HP-ALM, Confluence.
• Willingness to Learn new technologies and flexible to get cross trained whenever required.
• Solid Experience using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Solid Experience with Spring and Springboot Framework.
• Solid Experience with OpenShift 3.0 and 4.x.
• Hands-on experience with testing API (Ex: JUNIT) and build tool (ex: Maven).
• Hands on experience with Source Code Control applications (Git, BitBucket).
• Hands on experience with UNIX/LINUX basic commands and scripts.
• Good understanding of Object Oriented Principles.
• Experience with any ORM tool (Hibernate), REST services (Spring etc) is a plus.
• Experience writing Oracle SQL Queries and Stored Procedures is a plus.
• Experience with Batch technology (Control M, Autosys, Cron etc) is a plus.
• Experience with J2EE/J2SE Design Pattern and SDLC process is a plus.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (Jenkins or TeamCity) is a plus.
