Save engineering cost for GEC team through application and technical expertise.This position will report to Engineering Manager.Main Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Design and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare study and analyse existing systems. Determine system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.\xc2\xb7 Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system.\xc2\xb7 Identify, analyze and resolve hardware system support deficiencies. Develop and recommend corrective actions.\xc2\xb7 Complete Project task based on work assignment on time.\xc2\xb7 Deliver and implement the assigned projects on time with good quality/ cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.\xc2\xb7 Keep improving self-engineering capabilities and exchange best practice with other team members to improve team\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities.\xc2\xb7 Support Team Leader / Lead Engineer on technical issues.\xc2\xb7 Work closely with Team Leader / Lead Engineer to guarantee customer acceptance.\xc2\xb7 Ensure project implementation follows the engineering delivery standard.\xc2\xb7 Maximise reusable standard product and engineering in project delivery.\xc2\xb7 Technical implementation in whole life-cycle of project / work package delivery.\xc2\xb7 Work with Team Leader to manage technical risk in project / work package execution.\xc2\xb7 Work with Team Leader to clarify technical issues.\xc2\xb7 Cost reduction through process improvement, and through development of reusable engineering or engineering standard.\xc2\xb7 Work closely with Team Leader to achieve customer acceptance. Demonstrate application and technical expertise to achieve repeat order and retain customer satisfaction.Oversee:\xc2\xb7 Ensure 100% meet technical items defined in project / work package.\xc2\xb7 Ensure project implementation follows the procedure of RA engineering standards.\xc2\xb7 Maximise reusable standard product and engineering in project / work package delivery.\xc2\xb7 Support Team Leader in managing team performance, develop self and team capability and motivate the team.Job Related Competencies:\xc2\xb7 Extensive knowledge on AutoCAD (Preferably ACAD-Electrical) and ePLAN.\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of DOL, S/D, VFDs, Soft-Starters, PLC & MCC System Designing.\xc2\xb7 Must be aware of electrical system design standards like IEC/NEMA/UL 508 A codes.\xc2\xb7 Should have gone through complete project life cycle from hardware design prospective.\xc2\xb7 High level of expertise in Integrated Architecture, Standard Drives, Intelligent Motor Control, Safety Product, Component Industry Control, Networks, SSB Solutions, and an understanding of Motion Control, Medium Voltage Product and Drive System.\xc2\xb7 High level of expertise in Industry Knowledge, Application Knowledge, Training Skills, and basic understanding of Project Management, Lean Six Sigma Skill, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety).Educational Qualification and Work Experience:\xc2\xb7 Bachelors in Electrical /Instrumentation / Control / Electronics.\xc2\xb7 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in Industrial Automation-based Hardware Design (Rockwell Automation-ControlLogix, PLC 5, Compact Logix and Siemens/Schneider).Benefits:
