This team provides wealth management financial solutions to individual & institutional clients. The team delivers technology solutions through robust and scalable applications developed on various platforms such as .Net, SQL Server, Oracle, Java/J2EE, Angular JS and Mainframe. This team constitutes Application development, Testing (functional and automation), Design/Architecture and Business Analysis.This position will help in development of feature enhancements and ongoing maintenance of the Portfolio Management System, in applications like Investment Finder, Investment Proposal, Merrill Personal Wealth Advisor and Optima. The applications consists of several components including client and prospect proposals, portfolio model based rebalancing, order management, model maintenance and account servicing capabilities, investment avenues etc. Strong individual hands-on developer playing a key-role to develop, enhance, debug, support and maintain applications used by Portfolio Managers or supporting functions.Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience as a developer in Application Programming/Development design and development.
  • Architect, design, develop and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications.
  • Deep knowledge of Java, Spring-Boot, Kafka, design patterns, Linux, web and application servers
  • Hands-on in Oracle, expertise in PL/SQL tuning, query optimization, best practices, tools, and techniques is required.
  • Experience to trading domain would be beneficial.
  • Exposure to Charles River Everywhere would be an added advantage.
  • Maintain existing software systems as required.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to break down complex problems/ideas and come-up with creative solutions, leveraging the latest of the technologies, where possible.
RequirementsEducationB.E. / B.Tech. / MCACertifications (if any): NAExperience Range: 14- 18 YearsFoundational Skills:
  • Expert in web applications built on Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Kafka, Rest API, Hibernate, and Oracle. technologies.
  • 15+ years of experience in banking industry with proficiency in analysis, design, development, testing and deploying of Web based, Client/Server and Distributed applications on multiple platforms using J2EE technologies.
  • Working knowledge of application servers like JBOSS, WebLogic, WebSphere.
  • Familiarity with networking infrastructure such as LTM, GTMs and routing of application traffic between data centers.
  • Java, Spring-Boot, Oracle
  • Kafka, Angular, React, Horizon.
Desired skills
  • Experience in MVC (Model View Controller) architecture, using JSF, Struts Framework, Hibernate and Spring Framework with various JAVA/J2EE design patterns.
  • Experience in the design and development of JUnit test cases, load balancing and failovers with cache servers and application servers.
  • Good written, verbal and listening skills, analytical skills, ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Must have experience in Java/J2EE programming, Spring/Spring Boot Framework
  • GitHub source control.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior Experience in agile processes and transformation.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work and collaborate across global teams.
