Job Requirements1. Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering2.Strong understanding and exposure to various special purpose machines functions & components3.Create models & concept drawings for Special Purpose Machines using SolidWorks.4.Responsible to work with modelling, detailing and releasing team in completing the design as per requirement and publishing the drawings.5.Overseeing the concept design of special purpose machines, ensuring designs meet customer specifications and industry standards.6.Strong knowledge of GD & T, drawing knowledge, manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication, welding, machining, and heat/surface treatment, to inform design decisions is expected.7.Evaluating and selecting appropriate bought-out components, such as motors, cylinders, and pneumatic actuators, bearings for integration into machine designs and for proper machine functionality.8.Utilizing Teamcenter (PLM) for effective management of product lifecycle processes, ensuring documentation and design changes are tracked and communicated.9.Engaging with multiple stakeholders to understand the client requirements, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or feedback.10.Leading initiatives for design optimization and process improvements based on feedback and lessons learned from previous projects.11.Successful completion of projects within given timelines.12.Quality assurance metrics reflecting minimal defects and rework.Work Experience
