:We are currently seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer reporting directly to Associate Chief Manager - Loading Systems to join the team based at Mumbai.About The Role:Position purpose:Supports the Control System Department in ETO activities, design development, and After-Sales activities.Relationship responsibilities:Directly supervises (operationally): No direct report, but constant interactions with other disciplines, partners, subcontractors and suppliers.Limited supervision - autonomous work on assigned tasks is requestedKey Interactions:Internally:

• Close collaboration with Control Systems team
• Permanent collaboration with other engineering disciplines
• Regular interface with production team
• Regular interface with project managers

Externally:

• Regular interface with subcontractors during bidding phases, and for engineering follow up of corresponding POs
• Likely to intervene with customers, as support to project manager when required
• Likely to perform inspection activities at subcontractors premises

Scope of responsibilities:

• Responsible of providing requested deliverables on time, and respecting dedicated budget
• Responsible of subcontractors engineering reviews, and compliance to LS specifications

Position duties:Acts as a HSES role model:

• Rigorously respects HSES rules (wearing PPE, etc.).
• Participate in their application, improvement and promotion (local campaign such as Safety Stand Down, Tool Box Talks/Meetings, or global by the Corporate).
• Prepares and submits observation cards or equivalent.
• Enforces safety rules for our Suppliers / Sub-Contractors.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.

Participates to the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP):

• Participates to iQ (Impact Quality/Business Excellence) program by carrying out or participating in projects,
• Standardizes best practices and implements them,
• Ensures corrective actions are effective and root cause is identified,
• Is the relay of good Quality practices (Quality Policy, 6x Quality Principles) by mainly developing the spirit of Quality leadership outside the Quality department,
• Shares knowledge and feedback,
• Suggests and collaborates in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Create and maintain standardization of basic engineering documents

• In accordance with recognized industry standards, safety standards
• Using TEN PLM, Microsoft tools, and CAO software (suech as Autocad Electrical)

Perform basic and detailed control system and process control design, and specification for marine loading arm package. (PID's, Systems Architecture, interconnecting diagrams, I/O list):

• Reading and understanding the customer specifications in English language
• Issuance of basic engineering specifications and drawings (PID, Architecture, Interconnecting diagram, IO List, etc.)

Coordinate and ensure efficient interface with other stakeholders of loading arm projects (engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality and others).

• Participating to Engineering design reviews
• Technical assessment on suppliers quotations
• suppliers documentation Review
• Assist in the technical review meetings internally or with a third company ( Hazop, FMEA and SIL meetings, )

• Instrumentation/Electrical engineering degree
• Senior engineer with 5 years experience minimum on projects for the oil and gas industry, for instance working with / for engineering, procurement and construction companies (EPC's), oil and gas companies, and/or working with equipment manufacturers in the same area.
• Strong knowledge of PIDs and instrumentation.
• Working knowledge of International codes, explosion proof material.
• Knowledge of hydraulic or pneumatic system design and schematics
• Knowledge of SIEMENS or ROCKWELL PLC hardware and software is a plus (optional)
• Effective computer skills : Microsoft Office software, AUTOCAD ELECTRICAL
• Good English (read, write, and speaking). Must be able to write clear reports justifying the design choices and effectively communicate the same to partners.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
